The Iowa 80 Trucking Museum to Display Trucks at 30th Anniversary Walcott Truckers Jamboree

The Iowa 80 Trucking Museum will be displaying many antique trucks at the 2009 Walcott Truckers Jamboree. Most of them have not yet been on display in the museum, but are part of the Iowa 80 Trucking Museum’s collection.
The Truckers Jamboree is hosted every year at the Iowa 80 Truckstop, I-80 Exit 284, Walcott, Iowa. Since it’s inception in 1979, the Truckers Jamboree has been celebrating America’s Truckers. The 30th Anniversary Walcott Truckers Jamboree will be held July 9-10, 2009.
This event is a great place to celebrate and learn about trucking and those big rigs. It is a big thank you to the millions of truck drivers that deliver the goods we consume. Whether it’s groceries, gas, clothes or cars — you can bet it was delivered by a truck.
